Back On An FJR

My first JFR was the 2005. I had it for about two years.
Tomorrow I'm picking up my "Retirement" bike, a used 2015 FJR es with just 8,500 miles. I'm hoping to keep this bike until I have to give up riding.

This is going to be my around town and long haul bike. By long haul I mean that the guys I ride with do a once a year 5000+ mile multi-state tour in an area we haven't seen yet.
Let the fun and miles begin.

Bought my first FJR last November as a 2018 holdover. Then the company retired me in May. I use the bike for the same reasons as you. Been riding since I was 15 years old and this is the best piece of machinery I have ever owned.

I too had the '05 and kept for 11 or 12 (nearly, haha!) trouble-free miles. I wish you all the happiness in the world with thousands of trouble free miles!

Welcome (back) and glad you are here!
