Hello From Spokane

On the other forums I am known as Fontanaman. I decided to change things up here.

I have an 09 with around 110,000 miles and recently bought a used 17 with 16800 miles in Austin Texas and road it home in March 2020. Now the 17 has about 21,500 miles. The 17 is a nice upgrade.

A DR650 is in my garage to go play on gravel roads in Idaho.

Presently I am searching for the ideal windscreen for my 17. I have a Cee Bailey's 4+4 with reverse flip on my 09 - perfect for me. I have tried a PUIG, too short, and a Vstream tall, nearly too tall and the V shape allows wind on my arms. Trying to figure out I will do next.

Welcome my friend.
Do a search for barn door... here's a couple of threads for you. Shim up that V-Stream, some days you'll welcome the bit of breeze on your arms.

Hi and welcome SpokaneJim!

I love your part of the state for turkey hunting up near Kettle Falls and Colville.

These newer FJR's are the cat's meow. Congrats on the upgrade from a fellow Washingtonian on the Eastside of Seattle.

Hoping this COVID-19 pandemic runs its course quickly as life must continue and we must ride (in groups).

If shooting turkeys were legal in Spokane, save yourself a bunch of travel time by going to South Hill in Spokane (in the city) to find turkeys. There are considered pests. We have them in my neighborhood but we are not over run by them, yet.

Yes there is. I am impressed with ease of finding a couple of good posts on windscreens. Now I wish I just had all of the screens in my garage so I could try each one and have the others magically go away.
