Greeting from Birmingham Al

Hi and thanks to everyone for the great info I have picked up on this site. Hope to enjoy it for many more. I hope to learn my way around as time allows. Now if I can figure out how to post a pic of my 08 FJR.

Welcome from NC. Will be down there again in Sept. working the MotoAmerica races.

For pics, look for the paperclip icon, usually beside the smiley face icon, in the grey area of the message box.

Welcome to the forum 4day,

Yeah, Like Henry Ford said about the model T, in 2008 you could get your FJR in any color you wanted, as long as it was black.

In fact you can determine the year by the factory color.

2007- Black Cherry!

If its got teats or tires, your bound to have trouble with it...

'09's were black also, then there was the 2014 ES in black in Canada... and maybe later too. Just be happy you don't have one of the red ones, they are the slowest.

The '08 still had silver wheels and tank trim. The '09 was the first in a long line of expensive downgrades starting with black wheels

Welcome to the forum! In the states, Yamaha usually sells 1 color per year's model. Many times Canada is a different color and Europe is a choice of 2 colors. These colors change every year. This year is different in the states. The ES is matte blue (sames as last year), the A is a dark grey. This is the first time that I know of having a choice.
