Hello from NH

Hi I’m coming off a 2005 Ducati MTS and looking into a new bike. Hopefully it will work out with the dealer tomorrow. It’s a 2014 FJR model in good shape, a litter damaged on one side from a drop it looks like.

Howdy. Welcome to the forum. I was born in North Conway.

Recommend you put your location and whatever bike you do get into your profile.

Yo! And welcome.

What the guys above are saying:

Please consider making or modifying your forum signature to include the bike year and model you own. That way there's never any confusion since different model yrs have different stuff and are disassembled different ways.

To create or edit your sig, hover over the word 'TOOLS' in the black bar near the top of the page. A drop-down menu appears, click on 'USER CP'. Then on the left you will see "EDIT SIGNATURE". Click it, do it and save it.

Adding your location so it shows up under your user name can be helpful, too! This is also done under TOOLS/USER CP. Then click on 'Edit Your Details' on the left.

Connector, welcome, I come up your way periodically going to my sons. In Strafford, beautiful place, great roads on a bike, although some of them in Vermont are due for some work, pretty rough. But still pretty breath taking on an FJR to say the least, rte9 all the way to the tip of Maine, as good as any iíve ever ridden, just need to watch for bear, moose, and even a few deer. Beautiful place indeed !

I lived in Seabrook in 1955, pre Nuclear Power Plant days. I did a ride up to Salisbury, Gloucester a couple of summers ago to say goodbye to my last remaining Aunty. Was so excited to finally have some FRESH-fried pisser clams again, 25 dollars and some overcooked clams later I was REALLY disappointed. LOL

Welcome to the forum. My Dad's family was from Nashua (Ledge St.) so we spent just about every holiday and lots of time in the summer in NH. (Silver Lake, etc.) I make at least two trips a year up north on the FJR to hang with my UNH buddies at a cabin in Stoddard. Just phenomenal riding. Other than a slightly longer riding season, I'm really envious of the roads you have up there.
