Back safe and sound. Great weekend Liz, perspiration and rain tested the clothing from inside and out!, still enjoyed every mile and the area. Great to see everyone, relaxed get together and good food (except the cheese says Bev?) been home a couple of hours and already planning next get away, what is it about bike trips that make you want to do more?

Excellent weekend Liz and Ian - thanks for organising, and your hospitality.

Great to meet some old friends, and make some new ones.

Journey back was uneventful - only wet part of the way, then sunny all the way home. Back just before midnight last night - round trip of just over 1400 miles.

Ferry was packed full of classic cars that had been to the Le Mans Classic races, but it was delayed an hour, so the hold up at passport control didnt matter.

You are never too old to start having a happy childhood

Thanks Liz for a great Fest

I got home late last night, I managed to get to Liverpool without getting wet which was quite good considering all the rain there was about

Clocked a total of 1,493 miles

Finally got home about 1630ish today after a very wet ride from Llandeilo via a few places I just had to visit. Now working out how much money I haven't got left.

Great weekend Liz/Ian and everybody else.

Burgundyfest

Liz and Ian,

Thanks for a great weekend. After a bit of a lay period it was good to see some familiar, and not so familiar, faces again. My comment to Janis when we turned into Chemin des Pimolles was something along the lines of "I told you there'd be gravel"

The meal at Auberge du Soleil DíOr was great (Liz you have a PM) and the accomodation at Le Saint Fiacre, Roncheres I would be more than happy to recommend.

I think my French needs a little more polish. At lunch on Sunday I ended up with two large beers and a small water. I thought I asked for two small beers and a large water

We finished the week travelling through Orleans, Tours, Le Mans, Rennes, Avranches, Granville and Cherbourg finally arriving home at 3am today. (17/7/10)

Thank you one and all,
H and Janis.
