Does this absolutely have to be August? I've just been sprung from working in education and tied to school holidays all my life and have taken a vow never to go away again during hols. Too many ankle biters. Not only that, but Rip Off Britain is in full flood at that time with ferry prices at their highest. No chance of September?

@ Liz, there's no problem at all if September would suite everyone better and certainly would make it a cheaper time to travel.

What dates would be best if its moved to September?

September is better for us down here in Cornwall who are in the Tourist trade..

Its easier for Ronda to get hols out of the main six weeks ..

And as a Bonus its cheaper for hotels and travel..

It will still be raining in Eire wether its August or September so that has no effect at all on the decision

Stu..

Looks like a goer for us. Ferry from Cherbourg - Rosslare fits in and would stay at the commons Inn from Thursday - Monday.

Yay.

Don't think September works for us Novawing. I have sent you a PM, we may still come across on the original August dates however.
