If you click the Chevron (>) symbol it will bring you to the last post in that thread.

search this forum?

FJROwners.com Team,

"Search This Forum" does not seem to be working in the
"Bikes & Parts For Sale - USA" forum. For several items I tried, only this result appears:
"unknown local index 'vb_fjrowners_ws-postindex-main' in search request"

Cheers,
Red

At first I thought I didn't like it...

but then when grumpy old guys like rbentnail said they hated it...
... I thought, "well, maybe there's something good about it."

I think you've done a good job, Jeff. Nice to see you trying to answer the issues of the crotchety gents around here. Thanks.

Yes, I see a header that looks very similar in style to the one that I use on my site, and granted is similar to the "other" site. No problems with that, just saying I think that a corporate publisher that runs dozens of forums could of done a better job with a more creative header graphic than someone with very little photoshop experience (me).

I am going to admit to actually laughing out loud at this one Liquid.

But I'm not going to press "Like" because of a fear that new forum format might ask me for a credit card number and then charges me 25 cents if I do so... (That's just me nudging you in the ribs and joking a bit with you Jeff)

Having been part of a new forum rollout on a once insanely large fishing forum, I have to say that this update has been handled exceptionally well.

It seems no one ever likes a forum change until a few weeks pass and everyone gets used to it...

Well done to all involved and as the Honorable Mr. Liquid so eloquently and appropriately stated, kudos to you Jeff for your part.

RBent your point blank opinions and common sense sentiments are always enjoyed!!

Love the new format, for some reason my browser was always freezing up with the old one and was slow. Thanks for all your work Jeff.

Hey Jeff,
I am OK with the changes for the most part. Some I really like. There seems to be one function I used every time I logged in on the old system that I cannot seem to find (might be right in front of me) so can you tell me if there is the "New Posts" function like on the old system, where only threads with new posts are listed? I am not too wild about having to go forum by forum looking for the darkened icons. I liked the home screen shortcut on the old system that would simply list all threads, regardless of forum, for a quick read of the new stuff.

If I have simply missed this feature, please point me in the right direction.... If it is not here, please drop this note in the suggestion box. <grin>

Thanks,
Dave
