Somewhere around 7-8 years ago I switched to Apple 100% because I got tired of my windows based system slowing down to painfully slow levels. And because I'm not a computer expert I also got tired of googling fixes that didn't help. While there are things about Apple that annoy me, I never have computer operating problems any more.

This is the subgroup for help about the way the site behaves, not about what the site discusses.

This is not "pop up paranoia". This is pure evil attempt to install malicious software on my (and your) devices. If you had been paying attention you would know there never was and never will be an Adobe FLASH for iOS (thats Apple iPhone and iPad). The "pop up" claims something that doesn't exist needs to be updated. Duh? Honest people do not do such things.

The "pop up" locked in an infinite loop requiring force to kill the session, there was no clean exit. It didn't want to let me leave without installing their malware.

Honest site operators do not sell advertising to those who would do such things. However it is understood the site operators do not view and approve of every advertisement, that these things are selected by engines targeting specific ads to users. That is how Google made their trillion $. As a result the site operator would not know these things are occurring unless informed.

Beaky, there is not much to talk about FJR, it's too reliable, no recalls, no issues...so we discuss many other topics instead

if you wan't to talk about MOTORCYCLE related issues (and nothing but), you'll have to join bmw forum
