Oil Threads

It's been suggested that we adopt a new policy that there is only one oil thread going forward and that all new ones be deleted. What say ye? Any other suggestions?

Continue as we currently do

One thread only, all others deleted

One thread only, all others merged into that one

Personally, based on the last oil thread, I'm going with "one thread, merged". That crap gets more & more stale every time it comes up.

I voted merged, but really, things evolve. Losing old oil threads wouldn't be the end of the world either.

I agree with the above ! Give the know-it-all a-holes someplace to rant and leave the rest alone. It takes a lot of the fun out of this site !

I like the idea that every forum eventually reaches the conclusion that SOME moderation has to happen.

Ridden wet. Put up hard.

Garage
I voted for one oil, others deleted, when merged, whoa, that'll be many a pages. Can we go further and do the same for tire, coolant, final drive threads? LOL Oh, and oil filter threads too!

I thought about that but chose merging on the off chance that something new might come up once in a while or that some new folks to the forum may be missing out on something.

Itís worth considering, Iím going to hold off on voting at the moment only to do so with a clear mind. It would seem 1 oil thread is more than enough.

I want to publicly apologize for what I thought was going to be humor and an attempt to laugh about oil threads turning into such a s..t show. Never saw that one coming. Donk

Really? Couldn't see it coming? The same member(s) ALWAYS turn oil threads into a s**t show. Always, without fail. I think (t)he(y) must be part bloodhound by the way the threads get sniffed out and p!ssed on.

Maybe you should use the giggling emoji thingy more
