Why would I want a helmet made out of plywood?

It might be nice to have some things integrated into the helmet, like a camera and phone stuff... but IMHO, the first such contraption to market is usually chock full of issues and problems.

In the future, if other riders are loving them and working out the bugs... maybe I'd be interested in version 3.0 or something... and I'd probably only want to use that one for city riding, not my sport touring rides where I want NO distractions from the curves and deer.

* * Just hanging around until I can ride with Petey, Mack and Rock again. Never forgotten. * *

Nope, part of the beauty of getting out on the bike is getting away from that technology. My phone is in my jacket, I can pull over an use it when needed. I llke to ride undistracted and take in the sights without that stuff.

I love the look on people when I am telling the story of the occasional squirrel trying to run between my wheels, or the dog chasing me. Showing a video would never do it justice, and at those times, I don't want a camera or phone distracting me from putting those memories in the bank.

I wouldn't mind a truly functional, affordable helmet that fit.

Time spent looking at motorcycles, even Harleys, is never wasted.

I donít want my photos speed stamped. I like integrated comms. I prefer Nolan integrates audio/comms, but wish I had a camera. Fjrfarrierís pics made me want a setup with camera.

No commercials. No dictators.

I'm not a fan of tech intensive helmets.... first need the helmet to fit and be functional. The electronics seem to be less featured than what you can add on, but I get the appeal if you want good basic comm. I'm investing in a Garmin VIRB camera you can control by remote from the Garmin 590 GPS (and some other Garmins).
