Dont roast me too hard on this, but this scares me:

The PLY’s chinbar can be disassembled to access the electronics inside.

When the modular helmets first came out, I had no interest in them. The idea of a movable chin bar made me uncomfortable. Over a decade later (and only full face helmets) I may look at a modular for the next helmet. BUT I would not be able to purchase a brand new to market helmet knowing the chinbar can be disassembled. I have invested way too much money and time to ruin my teeth.

First Look: PLY Smart Helmet

I don't care if it serves in-flight meals and gives shoulder massages; they do not make it in MY hat size.

Cheers,

How is this a "first look" of a helmet they didn't even touch to write the "review"?

Well, maybe it will do better than the aborted Skully.

Time spent looking at motorcycles, even Harleys, is never wasted.

Beat them to the punch? I thought the Skully guys took everyone's money and left town.

My thoughts exactly. A helmet must be a good helmet that fits my noggin comfortably. That's challenging enough without trying to make it the Starship Enterprise as well

Just keepin' up with traffic, Officer.

LOOKS GREAT!!! Send me one and I'll try it out for a few thousand miles and then I'll write up a users review. PM me for my address.

A review by an unaffiliated "civilian" will be great for your marketing efforts.
