Hey thanks, I’ll check out the article. I did pull my bell apart and sand down the area that was giving me the hotspot, just haven’t had a chance to ride much since I did.
    Thanks again.

Sorry for the delay in answering but I've not been a frequent visitor since I bough a BMW ! I have put the side cases, smuggler and rambone up on the for sale section. Our house is rebuilt and now I am working my way through the garage. The cases and windscreen are the first things that I unpacked. I think I know where the kickstand foot is. I also have a ram-ball brake reservoir cover and a radar detector cover around somewhere.

Yes, I can ship to Detroit without any problems.

People seem to normally pay $50-100 for these bags on eBay and forums - depending on wear and tear, and the phase of the moon.

Mine are brand new and include the shoulder straps. Does $70+postage sound right?

    Kind regards, Eric

I do have a Detroit address, better to ship them there and then I go get them. Otherwise there are ridiculous brokerage charges. What do you want for them?

    Hi Scottie,

It has been a month since we last spoke and I hope you are a bit more recovered now.

Remain interested in the side cases and Smuggler. And could also be interested in the kick stand foot and ram bone if they can be shipped with the luggage.

    What price are you thinking?

Wishing you the best in your storm recovery. Saw some Houston pictures of flooded houses and the aftermath. Man, I would sure hate that to happen to anyone I know. Hope your home was not completely flooded where all your personal possessions ended up in a stack in the yard. Tough to take.

    Kind regards,

    Good morning Scottie,

    Thanks for your note.

If you can find a 2007 FJR owner that wants your cases, that would be ideal since they would not need to paint them. Otherwise, the cost and hassle of shipping and repainting to 2012 color with factory specs might be to much expense for us to try and bridge.

Could be interested one of the Garmins.

Most importantly, get your house and life back in order now and we can talk later - for it will still be a few months before the weather gets warm enough for me to make long trips.

The cages were on the bike when it was towed. I have a complete set of luggage (Side cases, top box and Smuggler) along with a kick stand foot, ram bone and 2 GPSs for sale I just haven't posted them yet (still too busy trying to get back into the house).

The GPSs are both Garmin. One is a 550 complete with locking Touratech MvG mopunt (the fancy motion damped one). The other is a 665 also with a locking touratech mount.

If you are interested make me an offer. The worst I can say is no. Well maybe I could say **** NO !!
