    I have no idea about this kind of modification...sorry!

    I know motorcycle clutches are "WET" ones and don't wear out like a dry car/trucks does if you feather (ride) them. And I just learned about the slip clutches for motorcycles too.

    I also know a little about helicopter sprag clutches - so important that they work properly during an engine failure to keep the rotors (RPM's) going during autorotations (aka helicopter gliding) to the ground.

    Hi, sorry to bother you but I see you know a bit about clutches and wondered if I could ask you a question. I have changed my front and rear brake cables to steel braided ones but when I came to change the clutch cable it has a metal section down near the bottom. Would it be alright to take that off and put a steel braided one on or do I need to buy one that has that on it? Sorry if it's a bit of a stupid question?
