If you look on this genuine guy's website he has a european version of a corbin smuggler - used and ex french police/gendarmes I guess, needs a bit of work and spray to match your colour of bike. But you don't mind that as he only wants Ä79 each for them.

Would these be an upgrade for a 2005 fjr ,or just a factory replacement?

I received one about two weeks ago and it appears to be the same as the original shock.

Thanks Buchef!

Just so you feel confident buying from him. I purchased one of these from him last year. It was not particularly well packaged, but since it's kind of like a brick it was not damaged in shipment.

By chance would you know which Ohlins they are using in the French Police FJR?

What year are these shocks pulled from?

I bought a shock from Buchef for my Gen. 2 a few years ago and the transaction went smoothly and I received the shock in a couple of weeks.

Sure hope some of us here in the states get a chance to purchase these if they are from Gen. 3 FJR's. The Gen. 3 shocks are a great upgrade for those Gen. 2 owners who don't have the cash or inclination to go full boat on aftermarket shocks.
