Had to go to PayPal to get a refund.
Wasted 2 weeks and ended going with tech mount.
I strongly reccomend against using them.
That's a shame..... MCL was always the first place I looked for a mod I wanted.

I ordered that from MCL, and got the parts in the mail a week or two later. I didn't have any problem with the ball size fitting my RAM arm.

I started removing the handlebars and then changed my mind and went to Harbor Freight. I bought an oversize socket set. I had a 20% off coupon, and they have a huge 3/4 drive metric socket set for $60. It's convenient to have larger than normal sockets when the need arises. It has 19mm thru 50mm socket sizes.

I heard Motorcycle Larry has excellent customer service, it's just on the other side. He passed away and his family shut the business down.

Motorcycle Larry's is absolutely terrible!
I ordered this, waited 2 weeks with no emails from them other than the invoice and called for an update only to learn that they never and I mean never answer their phone and they have no recorded message.
So I sent them an email and it came back as "Undeliverable".
They are 1 day away with regard to shipping and I'm now nearing my trip date so I drafted a letter and tried to fax it to them. Number is disconnected.
Fortunately I used Paypal and am in the middle of trying to get my money back. All of these gyrations were a complete waste of my time with absolutely no contact or regard from them.
I used the Techmount. Works perfectly.

Maybe but they will gladly take your money and hold it hostage for a month or two...

Incase anyone hasn't mentioned you can take the 'tech mount' ball and entire stem off and screw in a ram ball with tripod threads. give you the best of both worlds. Having a central mounted GPS is fantastic/
