WANTED: 2003 FJR1300 rear fender covers *any color, shipped to Canada**

Hello hello,

Bought an FJR and found this site. Interesting.

I'm looking to buy a set of rear fender caps, any color, silver preferred, for my new toy. They are the covers for the saddlebag holes in the rear fender. My FJR did not come with them, or saddlebags, for that matter. Guessing they got damaged and a previous owner never bothered getting new ones. Everywhere I try, they tell me they are discontinued. I can get the ones for later models but no one can tell me if they will fit. The saddlebags do apparently but maybe the cutouts are different?

Thank you.

Saddlebags are universal fit, all fit. Can even use ones off a Tracer GT, bases identical but lids different (can get FJR lids, paint to suit, rivets at hinges).
Perhaps narrow down your location in your profile, Canada a big place.

Hello Frank, the best I can do is give you the exact part numbers you are looking for. Actually a website link, and part #indicators 36, 37, & 38. I am looking to see what years might be interchangeable. #36 & #37 are the covers beside the seat

I have sent a couple of messages out to some ebay sellers to see if they might have them, but not listed

There are other newer models that may have been the same silver. The 2010 A and several model yrs of the USA AE.

Frank, I just looked under a 2011 model (silver) diagram numbers 37 &38 both show available for $15.26ea through Partzilla, good luck and let us know how it goes.

Also looked at the saddlebag assy’s with the LH bag still available for about $490 but the RH bag is discontinued, but looking at the 2013 model both are available, but the 2013 color is a little different.

eBay also offers a lot of options including a lot of used scuffed up oe bags where the seller wants nearly $700 for a bag you can get brand-dam new from Partzilla for $490,,, go figure!

As an addition, I just looked at a thread here with a member selling a set of 2015 bags off of a bike he totaled for $650, take a look, maybe drop him a pm.

OldFrankHog, if the Gen2 covers physically fit (and I don't know that they do), I have a silver set from my '07...

Hey guys thanks a lot for the replies. The model year is in the title. It's a 2003 with no abs. Not sure if that makes it a "R" or "CA".

That is exactly what I am looking for. They are available for later models but no one will tell me if they are interchangeable. I might buy one just to test it out.
