FJR Seat on Ebay

Not my seat, but one is for sale. Looks like Gen 2.

I'm not impressed with the look. My stock seat seems good enough for now.

Looks the same as my current RDL that I have on my bike with the cracks on the wings. Interesting to see if it will go for the $650 asking price.

Seller claims it's leather. The rear seat is only covered, so it better be leather to justify that price.

It might be leather looking at the underside photo and noticing the fraying of material. Looking at the under side, it is missing a rubber standoff that would cause the seat to wobble when placed. As for "Excellent condition", I don't think that price is justified, it shows signs of a lot of use with the lines on the wings, and the material through the peephole on th back side is usually where the board is placed. They use a standard yellow glue on that board, it is gray. I don't mean to slam this sale if it is a member here, it is still a good seat, just not at that price IMHO.

So I called Russell seats with the build number as supplied by the seller on Ebay.
The seat is leather and was made in 2008 for a 6'00'' 200 lb 34'' inseam rider.
