Hi,

Almost new bags off a 2018 FJR1300. Locks not included.

I went with FJ09 cases instead.

Best of luck with the sale.
A little off topic but I would like to go with the FJ 09 bags too, have been looking but not found any. (used)
May I ask where you got yours?

Ebay, search by the part number. I had my painter paint them.

If you can find FJ09 lids, 4 - 5/32" rivets will get them on. Bases are identical to FJR.

Might I ask WHY you'd swap them over?

They look great. The stock cases look bulbous. The city cases (the flatter lids) look like what should have come on the bike. Standard on police FJR’s to ease squeezing into tight areas. Man I should buy the OP’s cases. I’ve already got a rashed up left bag on my ‘18 from the dog knocking it down the steps when I had them off for cleaning.

As Bill Lumberg said the stock cases are just plain fat. But main reason is I ride full time 3-4 hours a day in Oakland/San Francisco area splitting lanes and the slim cases make life far easier.

That dog was a boxer. Boxers spook easily. She bumped the case then jumped. Case rolled down to the concrete driveway. In a rare moment of sense, I recognized that it simply wasnít the dogís fault and I didnít fuss. Dog took ill and died Late summer. Iím glad I didnít yell about the case.
