Ray I read the thread on that other forum, IIRC it does have "6,000 gentle miles on it" . ..... Still a good deal for a rider close to that weight. Wish I had the spare cash, Holidays and large family.

I can't view the thread on the other forum. Will that spring work for a lighter weight rider. Around 158 lbs. That's in regular clothes not riding gear. Thanks

What you really should do is call Ohlins or Cogent Dynamics for a spring recommendation. In my opinion, you're on the edge of wanting perhaps an 800 lb. spring, however it comes already manually adjusted to 14mm of preload. With the 850, it may be OK as is, or you could back off the preload ring to say 10mm, then use the hydraulic preload to add in more if you need it.
On my suspension matrix (last page), I recommended going with Penske's spring recommendations rather than RaceTech's as they tend to be far too harsh in their recommendations.

Trying again, I purchased from ApexGT and have never put it on as I have one already, purchased as I thought I had another FJR headed my way. Didn't happen so putting up for sale, $700 shipped to the Continental US & still in the original packaging. 850 Lb spring.

Link to original add.

I have for sale a mint cond Ohlins YA-707 shock removed from my 2006 FJR only because I'm selling my FJR and de-farkeling it, bought a new SuperTenere. This shock is like new with 6000 gentle miles on it, was custom set by GP Suspention for a 210lb rider, comes in original box with all mounting acces. and manuals, just as I received it new, it's meant for a Gen 2 , 2006-2015 but will also fit Gen 1 as well.

$850US shipped to CONUS, I prefer PayPal but I will also accept USPS and ship by USPS for the safety of both parties as it is a federal offence to commit fraud using the USPS.

Ships from 49783 upper Mi.

I can be reached at [email protected] for more info and pics

You had to click on the other two forums to find out it had been mounted and used. Still a good deal on a like new shock.
