SOLD - Staintune Exhaust $400

These have been sold. Thank you to all who have viewed this thread!

Hello all,

I sold the FJR so now, up for sale is a Staintune exhaust system (two mufflers) for $400 plus shipping.

They are in excellent condition with only two blemishes that are not visible when mounted on the bike. The first is a slight crease in the midpipe where the kickstand made contact with the pipe (see pics). This would normally be covered by the kickstand when up and not visible (not even visible when the stand is down, really). The pipes came to me this way and I don't think that my kickstand ever made contact with the pipe. The original owner may have had their kickstand adjusted wrong or maybe it was bent?

The second is a tiny ding on the left exhaust can that I didn't even know existed until after I removed the cans and cleaned them up for photos. I have no idea when it happened or where it came from. It may have been there when I purchased the cans but I can't say for sure. What I can say is that you wouldn't even notice it when mounted unless you already knew it was there (see pic with my finger for scale).

As you can see, these are beautiful cans that look and sound great!

These were mounted on my 2013 but I think they will fit Gen II and up. Please check to make sure.

They are boxed up and ready to go, just send me your zip code for a shipping quote or drop by Indianapolis and pick them up in person.

Thanks for looking.

Staintunes aren't cheap, they were the desired set for ST1300's when I had one. This is a heckuva deal.

Well, Linehopper1 never followed up with me so these are still available.

Just an update in case you might have thought that they are spoken for.

How's the sound, say compared to Two Brothers or Delkevic?

2008 Gen II
When I was a track-a-holic on my R1 & R6, I used to think that the FJR was an old man's bike. Then I got one and absolutely love it. Hey...wait a minute!

Well, I have not had the opportunity to hear my bike with them installed next to either of those so I can't say for sure. However, I do know from other bikes that the Two Brothers exhaust tend to be pretty loud, and these are more mellow than what I have heard from Two Brothers so I would have to say that they are closer to Delkevics. The Staintunes aren't a whole lot louder than OEM but they do sound better....and, of course, they look much better too!
