Powercommander V

Dynojet Powercommander V P/N 22-056, for Yamaha FJR 1300 Gen I or Gen II. Bought and installed on my Gen III, then found out it's not compatible. Comes with Powercommander only. No data cables, stickers, or velcro strips. Unit works fine, just not for my bike. $250 or best offer.

"Good Luck With Sale": the usual comment when someone thinks the item is overpriced.

Not sure how to price it. What would you suggest? I'm open to ideas. Unfortunately, it was quite an expensive mistake on my part, believing the dealer wouldn't sell me something that didn't work. Just trying to get something out of it.

If dealer sold you the wrong item take it back and get your money refunded.

First off, it's 3 yrs old, so, no I won't get my money back. Secondly, it is the right one for the bike. I just can't program or tune it as it isn't mac compatible. So, to me it's useless. To somebody with a Windoze machine it may be useful.

Go to a library and use their Windoze, as you say. Not being mac compatible is not a roadblock, heck, there are widows computers all over the place. More than likely, one of your friends has one. LOL
