WTB Throttlemiester Bar Ends/Lock

If you have a set of Throttlemiester bar ends/throttle lock sitting around collecting dust, I am looking to purchase a set. Would also consider other brands. PM me with what you've got.

~Yeah, I'm a Boomer. You got a problem with that?!~

I had a set, but I sold them and they're pretty rare now that the company folded. Just make sure that the O-Rings are in good shape and they have all the pieces, otherwise you might have a hard time getting the right parts to make it work properly. I went to the BrakeAway model and that is better for me than the Throttlemeister was (by far). Good luck with your search!!!

Ditto on the BrakeAway, I really like it. Pricey piece of kit, a PITA to install and adjust but once it's right it's really nice.

I want the Throttlemiester as much for the bar end weight, as the locking feature. I've got a deal with Ormondb (if I didn't F it up). But thanks for the feedback.

Yep, I got lucky and found one on eBay that no one noticed due to the way the auction was titled; it was basically like new. Was able to get it for like $65.00 I believe. It is way over-engineered and a bit of a pain to set-up at first, but once it's set it's been a great addition to the bike.

Any pictures of the BrakeAway setup guy’s ? Just asking because it might work on some of my more regularly used antiques, just curious. TIA.

Just for poop and giggles, I have a couple of Throttlemeister bar ends, {left and right} but I DO NOT have the parts that fit INSIDE the handlebars. They are not perfect but good enough for all but the most anal. Throttlemeister parts are 40 bucks shipped to CONTUSA. {I also showed a pic of a 1" ball that is permanently attached to the big nut that is on the top of the middle triple clamp} Not pretty, but not as bad as it looks in the pic. 20 bucks shipped to Contusa}. {after I put the ball in here I thought I would also put these Motorcycle larry highway pegs in here, NO SCREWS OR SPACERS. 80 dollar shipped Contusa, 50 dollars without pegs}

Pics of MCLarry Highway pegs.

I know I am hijacking this thread, but the original guy got the Throttlemeister he wanted. If anyone complains I will take this stuff off.
