A minor niggle: A 2007 FJR is not a Series III.

Time spent looking at motorcycles, even Harleys, is never wasted.

Since you spoiled Brit's get everything first, you got the FJR in 2001.

In 2004 there were some upgrades {different front disks, glovebox, optional ABS etc.} so some folks over there labeled the 2004 as Gen. 2, and the upgrades in 2006 Gen. 3.

The FJR did not get to the USA till 2003, {and even then you had to order it and pay money in advance} so the online forums didn't get really rolling till 2004-5 and so the 2006 upgrades became Gen. 2.

Perhaps that's the problem. Special treatment. LOL
