He's got an ES but he's set up for 1-up riding exclusively. He even put an aux gas tank over the rear seat. He says he uses the stock ES settings and virtually never changes them.

And he apologizes for being no help whatsoever.

Hello Russ, This is JWIII in Greensboro. Looking for a 2 up rider on an ES. I would like some feedback re: the suspension. If you know anyone I would sure appreciate a heads up. Thanks,

Hey Russ, can you get rid of the Feb. ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway post? I thought I had lost the other one {winter ride in the carolinas} so I started over, then realized I had NOT LOST it. Thanks, Phil

Thanks for putting sold on the thread. The new owner is a really nice guy named
John Belanger. If you meet him you will like him.
I have a NEW OEM stock Gen 2 windshield.
Any idea what it is worth ?

Barebones or economical way to do a valve check.

    Russ,

Due to some big changes at work and not wanting to put it off any longer, what would be the near minimum that would be needed off of your list when we do they valve check. I am getting laid off long story short at the end of the month. But get a little of a package to tie me over. So in the meantime I am looking for a new job and will go ahead with the maintenance on the bike so that I dont have something bigger happen later that is more expensive.

Thanks and talk to you soon if it ever stops raining.
    Alan

    Hi Russ,

Appreciate your mentioning the Admore plug and play lighting harness, model FJR2. It looks like just the trick for splicing in some additional rear lights/ brake strobe. Sounds like it worked ok for you.

See the pricing is $29 and I plan to order one soon for a summer lighting project. If yours is collecting dust and FJetRguy does not want it, I would be glad to pay you something for it.

BTW, thanks for all your contributions to the forum. They are most helpful for those of us that are new to FJR's.

    Eric

I am getting ready to do the exact same thing you did with the heli plate and the gen risers on top.The only difference is my bike is a 2014 I'm a little Leary that they might of shorten things up a little on the gen 3. What length of bolts did you use? I'm hoping I don't need longer lines

    Thanks for deleting the post.
    Never again, i swear.

I'm over my Black Dog, just too mental problems with all my medical complications and now receiving good help !
Don't worry I'm not going to pop myself.

Could you please tell the other moderators,

    Cheers
    Ken
