Hi All,

as the title mentions, are there any Melbourne riders out there, would be nice to swap info make sure I am doing the right thing with maintenance and all that.

I have a bunch of wires wrapped up under the left fairing I want to see it they are standard or added on afterwards

Hi Johnno,

I've been away from the forums for quite a while and I've just seen your post.
I'm not a guru, but I'm happy to help if I can.

Hi Johnno, I live in Melbourne - Greensborough. Have rebuilt a 2001 FJR from 2 write-offs. Have gone through all the reqs of the Vic Roads VIV checks. All repairs and reconstruction done personally. Bike motor had only done 13500ks, now has 17000 and runs like a dream.
Looked at your wiring question and it may be a leftover from a controller for hot grips. I have wiring diags somewhere if you need further info.
