Great, Oct 2nd weekend - Gassville (unless group figures somewhere else which I'm cool with).....let's see who else might come out of the shadows.

@Boomer59 - long story about the "Boof" thing....has to do with a Basset Hound named Beauford (aka boofer) + Tandem Non-Stop Mainframe Supercomputer + STS-29 Space Shuttle Launch + one of the astronauts on that shuttle.

See....even the short story is a long one

If it has two wheels or a mainsail - I will pilot it.

Boof,
Sorry about that Boof-Hoon comment. I just can't help myself.
It's a personality disorder I've cultivated over my lifetime.

I'll put October 2 in my book. Gassville is fine, but I'm open to different places.

Anywhere I can ride fast and drink beer with my buds.

* * Just hanging around until I can ride with Petey, Mack and Rock again. Never forgotten. * *

@Boomer59 - dude !! you fit right in to this crowd 🙂 Come down from Iron Country and join us!!
@max im - if you haven’t been to the Ozarks it is a hidden gem, really.....there is something about the engineering of the roads. The rhythm of the curves can get mesmerizing......so if you haven’t been mesmerized lately....

We have a special tour guide with Liquidsilver. Liquid knows all of the Ozark secret passages and most importantly, always brings beer 🍺 I never have asked him what his “Liquid” naming roots are come to think of it.......but the first FJR was silver....hmmmm....

If it has two wheels or a mainsail - I will pilot it.

Boof, Thanks for the invite! I'd take you up on it if my dance card wasn't already full (wif's b-day is Oct 2nd). Besides; I'd just slow you down (come'n off 20+ years on an H-D I'm still in the putt'n mode).
Y'all have a good time, be safe, and post some pictures.

@OSU55 - hope to see ya there. We are a 100% “ride your own ride” mentality. The pace can get “spirited” but without pressure...if that makes sense. We kind of make it up as we go.

The Brass Door Inn has a lot of memories for sure. It’s actually kind of a FJR Hoon time capsule....hasn’t changed since 2004....or 1974 for that matter 😉 So maybe it’s also a Honda 750 Four time capsule as well (weren’t they the bomb back then??). If those walls could talk....oh....they do , but that’s just the person in the room next door !!

If it has two wheels or a mainsail - I will pilot it.
