Moparman70 took three of us on a ride par excellence. Thank you for that.

Saturday's ride will be more modest... [HERE_2] is what it looks like on Google Maps. (2nd attempt at making the link work.)

Pico is an exit from Interstate 5 a few miles after you go past San Onofre Nuclear power.

Crystal Cove and Laguna Beach (near there) are sacred ground for me. I courted the wife of my youth on those beaches. Seemed like a good place to end the ride.

Fixed the link (i think).... The screen capture worked. I picked the route because it's scenic and has some good places to stop and talk. Any ride may be done solo. Most are best that way. Still, I look forward to sharing this one.

Great! If you can make it, we'd love to have you along. Should be a fun ride not a fast one.

If you want breakfast first, how about the "Swing Inn" old town at 8AM. It's not far from the start place.?

I like it when things happen organically this way.

I still plan to be at the "jack in the box" starting place at 9:00AM ... just in case someone read that post ONLY and doesn't know about swing in.

There's nothing lonelier than showing up at a meeting place and having NO ONE meet you.

Having breakfast in "Old Town" will make me not want lunch in Cook's Corner. That's just as well. Better to have a beer at the bar there and then tour the parked motorcycles. Sometimes, there's live music too.

(Pictures coming).

Thanks for the more detailed directions.
They'll come in handy if I get separated.
