Gassville is just so perfect for the circuitous routes. Never stayed in Melbourne. Marshall? I met the owner of the little River Inn, there in Mammoth Spring, but it's not in the middle of the good stuff.

I was thinking about trying to include my nephew, Nick. Really cool 17 year old kid. He owns one of my old FZ1s. He's not comfortable on long, long rides, but he's good at riding his own ride when I unplug a bit in front of him. He's looking forward to me taking him for a longer, multi-day ride... so maybe a hoon ride shouldn't be his first... not sure.

Piedmont MO has some fun roads right around it, but there are only so many really GOOD ones around there.

In short, I'm wide open to suggestions. I don't have any track dates scheduled in April, so I'm open there too.

* * Just hanging around until I can ride with Petey, Mack and Rock again. Never forgotten. * *

I'm super good with either of those!

I probably wouldn't bring nephew along if it's Mena, 'cause that would be like an iron butt for him... but that's no reason not go go. I haven't been over there since I rode it with Petey.

wheaton and 0face like this.

Sherwood Inn is kind of nice.....EZ to get to from TN (we bought a house in Cookeville BTW, closer to family & Nashville). But either one , or something new is peachy as well. I'm pokey enough to hang with the nephew while y'all hoon it up. Anytime in April works for me and I'll promise to not leave at zero o'clock on Sunday this time. Might hit the KY Bourbon trail on the way.

That Cotter Trout Lodge just past Gassville always looks kind of neat.....next to river and restaurant next door. But that might be a snub to the Brass Door which might not be nice.

Circuitous.......thems fancy words

If it has two wheels or a mainsail - I will pilot it.

I vote for the northern part of Arkansas or southern Missouri, I'm easy with where we stay. I have other obligations the weekend of April 18-19, so please pick another date so I can join in the fun

early April is best for me, either 3,4,5 or 10,11,12.

Clarksville Sherwood Inn?

All of those are ok with me, Train. The beer store is only about 12 miles away from Clarksville, so I'd probably better tie it to my bike instead of carrying it between my knees like I did last fall in Gassville.
