Yeah Ray, the roads are the best... but the BS is a close second... the rendering plant smell of passing through Spadra to pickup beer... not so good. (If I were planning to camp, I'd check the wind direction.)

Oh, and to a Canuck, the pauper beers I'm drinking may be scary!

Train, I think Gene Gene the twisty road machine (2qk4u) was planning to head over from Topeka, too.

Hey Liquid, you really know your Canadians!!! Ann is from London ON and I grew up on the border..........beer is a Canadian national treasure (as well it should be).........they even integrate it into their traffic laws.......

If it has two wheels or a mainsail - I will pilot it.

Liquidsilver, thanks for the heads up on the rendering plant smell. I wasn't aware. Wouldn't be the first time I bailed and got a hotel room.

Yeah, I don't want to scare you off... the lake views in that area are fabulous, but that rendering plant near Spadra can take the breath out of you as you ride past. I'll bet a park service person in the area could give you better intel than I can, though.

We don't have official activities or anything so it doesn't matter where anybody stays. We just take off at 9am from the Sherwood Inn and try to end up on roughly the same route as everybody else and then compare notes at the end of the day.
