Well... they might have fancy beers like Colt 45 and Schlitz over at the local 7/11... but you might have to go shopping.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Might just have to bring along some "Stag" to show just how high a quality beer can get.

New PR4GTs ordered for front and back. Gettin' ready fellas!

May the wind take your troubles away.

No set route, Boofer. Are there lakes to sail on or roads to shred around Knoxville? I just sold my sailboat in Austin and bought a new BMW RT.

Well TBob, not so much on sailboat lakes here in east TN. The only lake I can think of that is of any size is the Cherokee reservoir. But being raised on the Great Lakes and in J105 boats, that's a little uhhh.....confining for me. So my BFF has a 105 on Lake Michigan still so I get to get a fix in now and then.

Now as for the roads to shred near Knoxville.......all I can say is Great Smokey Mountains National Park !!! Can't even begin to lay out the hundred bazillion awesome roads to ride around here. Knoxville is a hidden gem IMHO for both Sport and ADV riding. As a matter of fact I am taking a couple of days to hit a mix of fire service roads and mountain paved twisties down to Bryson City NC in a couple weeks. I mistakenly thought that a route from Birmingham might take you through the GSMNP but once I looked at potential routes........it was clear that I am geographically challenged without a map in hand
I'll be taking a N. TN / S. Kentucky / Missouri state line route over to Gassville. That passes through a little bit of the bourbon trail which has its pluses

If it has two wheels or a mainsail - I will pilot it.

3 weeks to launch!

HOOOOON ARE YOU?
HOON-HOON! HOON-HOON!
HOOOOON ARE YOU?
HOON-HOON! HOON-HOON!

I woke up on an Arkansas highway
a policeman knew my name
he said, "you can go sleep in Gassville,
if you can get up and ride away..."

--massive apologies to Pete Townshend

May the wind take your troubles away.

Hmmm Trainwreck REALLY seems to need some bonding time with his FJR :-)

Okay.....I'll play "Name that Hoon".......here ya go.......

On a dark Ozark highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of fried catfish, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering budlight
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
Stopped in Gassville for the night…….

Not too bad, Boof... I think Weird Al may call you for material.
