And appropriately, here are some of mine, from Thursday's run to the Black Canyon, and yesterday's trip through Gateway Canyon and up the Red Mountain Pass.

Had a great time once again. That part of Colo. is my fav. when it comes to riding. Not much traffic, friendly police,(more about that it a moment), great roads, great friends, and awesome scenery.
Here's few of the photos I took over the weekend.
Jim and I stopped at the coke ovens on the way over to Montrose.

Group that I led on an adventure down to and through Lake City on Saturday. We had planned to go to Two Forks, or even Pagosa but about 20 miles past Lake City we hit heavy rain and had temps of 43 degrees when I made the call to flip a U and head back . On the way back we met a County Sheriff and he gave us a friendly "visual" warning by flipping his lights on and off that we were speeding a wee bit. I like those kinds of warnings. But anyways we stopped along this popular pull off at Blue Mesa Res. and snapped a group photo. We had a great little ride Sat.
