Well we're starting to get a few more options. Dunblane have come back with a slightly better rate for 11 - 13 July at 114 per night. Theres an option in Moffat for 95 per night and Margaret is waiting on a reply from a hotel in Kelso for the first weekend in August for around 85 per night. All based on double occupancy B&B with small discount for singles. Even the Premier Inn in Livingston is asking over 100 a night pre pay in advance for August but only 186 in total for 3 nights for the July dates. It does have a beefeater next door for food and we could do a BBQ on the Saturday if enough people thought that was a viable option, weather permitting of course!

Any option fine with us Ian, but the dates we said are still best for us...well....for Bev...I personally can manage any time after the 13th March without checking my diary!!!

Final details to follow but all things considered we have a final date of 1 to 3 August and the venue is the Cross Keys Hotel Kelso. Rate is 87.50 double or twin or 67.50 single per night for B&B. They can also offer a 3 course meal offering 3 to 4 choices per course plus coffee for 10 per head. They are holding 15 rooms for us and you will need to pay a deposit of 25 per person so get your room booked asap if you are coming and confirm below the nights you'll be staying and whether you want the meal on Saturday.
