North Wales Fest 2013 (NWF2013)

Hi there everyone

No I have not quite retired, should be this month.

As we draw ever closer to the year end and attempt to plan ahead, as if I ever do that.

Can I have a list of dates to avoid from those of you who are bound by school holidays and the like. Us retired gentle folk don't need to worry about such things. I was thinking of the same hotel as last time in Llangollen, unless anyone has violent objections.

I have several route ideas running around inside my now almost inactive brain and need to find a lunch stop and my ever necessary "Brian" stops.

So please come back with dates and I may not fall asleep in my chair so often.

Brian

Ahmmmmm what might you be implying there Ian??????? You should be used to the Scottish weather we had that weekend LOL

Can do most of August but not the bank holiday, not Easter as we are away in France

It is better to be weird and remembered than ordinary and forgotten

I am used to it, but Margaret prefers not to get like a drowned rat on the back of the bike!

Hadn't bothered to post here before as we're easily pleased, but it just struck me that we're probably going walkabout for one or other of the first two weekends in July. However not got much beyond the loose planning stage yet, so can't be more specific.

I have reserved 16 rooms at The Hand Hotel for the weekend of 23 - 26 August 2013. The rooms are all in my name so when booking please quote "Stapleton party" but book with your own names.
Yes I know it's a bank holiday weekend, but that was all they had available during August. Local choir on the Friday and a band on the Saturday night as before. I still have to negotiate the B&B rate with the manager so I will be back with that detail. The plan is the same as usual, Friday night gather and do whatever, Saturday buffet meal together, Sunday perhaps a quiet night in the hotel, or whatever. I hope this is agreeable with the majority. I will now get on with the routes. So if you could form an orderly list and the nights you will be staying. Let the mayhem begin.
