After my divorce was on it's way to closure I decided to get back into the dating pool. So I went on a site called "Plenty of Fish" in seach of a compatible mate. One of my prerequisites was to find someone that liked motorcycles and I wanted to be clear about that so my profile pic was that of me standing by my '92 FJ1200abs. As it turns out I found someone who had her own bike which was a Honda 600 Shadow. Now fast forward 12 years later and we have a house together with a Suzuki C90 Boulevard and Yamaha 1300 in the garage. Life is good on 2 wheels with a partner who lives by the same creed.

I got my first Motorcycle (Honda Sabre 1100) after the wife and I were married a few years. She enjoyed going for rides while I had the the motorcycle. Being young, I was not a very mature rider and was in a pretty bad accident, and broke a bone in my back. My wife was 8 months pregnant at the time with our first child. We discussed giving up riding would be a good choice after the accident. The wife and I have been married 30 years now and both of our children are adults. My wife has know I have wanted to get another motorcycle for sometime now. This year she surprised me for 50th Birthday and said lets go get that bike (2013 FJR). We are again riding together and enjoying it. I have such an amazing wife.

Yup, totally agree with these sentiments.

I came into my marriage, on two wheels, and she accepted it and me.

After the kids were grown, we started to ride together.

Then she got her license and her own bike. Good times, indeed!
