That almost happened to me a couple of years ago. I was down in Houston pulling out of a parking lot. I was half way through my right turn when a car came whipping around the corner. A few seconds earlier and I would have become a hood ornament. I hit the brakes hard. Know what happens when you apply the brakes really hard in a turn?
Yep. Spilled the bike. Right foot was pinned, really pinned, under my canyon cage. A couple of strangers came by and lifted the bike off me. Unlike you, I was really lucky, nothing broken, just a badly bruised, sprained ankle.
Time spent looking at motorcycles, even Harleys, is never wasted.
