If I go the N1K route again, I'm definitely going 2020 or 2021. The FJR's cruise control has won me over. Throttle locks have worked well for me in the past however they have their limitations being mechanical devices, rather than electronic. By all reports, the updates to the 2020 N1K elevate its status to serious consideration territory to the previous gen. And as a near life-long Kawi guy, well...
The current gen Versys 1000, as practical as it may be, just doesn't call to me. I think I'd stick w/the FJR before going V1K.
As for deals, I've already located discounted both 2020 N1K's and Tracer 900GT's right in my region. I hate buying new bikes though, but we'll see. I'm in no rush.
