Atlanta Motorcycle Show 1-25-2020

Just curious about this show. Has anyone gone to it before? Are there "test rides"? Is it a HD centered event? {I just looked at the Ad Page and only saw Harley, and some British stuff}. I haven't been for a ride lately and was just curious if I went there instead of in the Smokeys it might be worth it.

I went there a few years ago with my son .

As I remember very little ( if any ) manufacturers support .

Some dealers with new bikes , Vespa , Triumph , Honda ,

One guy had 15-20 nicely refurbished bikes from the 60 and 70s , lots of memories there .

LOTS of custom Harley shops with their wild bikes .

Lots of leather , etc

Hmmm , think that's about it .

We were talking about going again , so if you do come let me know and we can possibly meet up .

I'll buy lunch .

If youíre talking about the Great American Motorcycle Show, I went year before last with my wife. Mostly merch, some old bike displays (a number of old Yamaha race bikes). Not so much new stuff. Not so much manufacturer stuff. Free coozies and key rings. Do rags and low quality leather for sale. Interesting. Not like a full on motorcycle industry show at all. But enough stuff to keep you looking around for hours.

No commercials. No dictators.

Ditto. I went many years ago and was highly disappointed. If looking for Harley-Davidson chrome and leather then youíll understand why there call it the Great American Motorcycle Show. No others need apply.

I'll probably go just because there's nothing better to go to. I wish one of the premier show would come to Atlanta. (or Charlotte, for that matter).

Used to be one in Greenville, SC that I went to one time long ago. Wasn't too bad.

In the past 20 years the big Progressive/International show stopped in Atlanta. Tried 2 different venues and while I thought the crowds were large enough to support the show I didn't like either place. Both were hard to get in/out, even parking far away and riding the train.

Am guessing Atlanta priced themselves out of a motorcycle show.

Am not going to lose any sleep over it. Would rather go to the NRA Annual in Nashville this April. https://www.nraam.org

Last year not really worth the effort - as other said - lots of leather and crazy custom bikes and a few classics.

There were a few cool BMW and Ducati models that my sons enjoyed seeing so I guess it was a win after all - just not what I was expecting,

Myself and a couple of friends went. Pretty much what itís been in the past. Lots of Harley clothing, some preowned stuff for sale. BMW, husky, KTM had displays set up. Can-am. WOW had a used bike display. Few campers on display. Few others, biker lawyer had a booth set up. Pretty much it. It was good to get out with some friends, would have been more fun riding with said friends but beings it was cold.......... if you didnít go you didnít miss anything interesting.
