FJR model year changes

I recently sold my R1200RT and am considering an FJR1300 for my next bike. Is there a website or some where I can see the changes made over the years ?

Pretty comprehensive listing at fjrforum. I’m
sure Fjriders has one, but I’m not sure where. Gen 3 (2013??) ushered in a lot of improvements. Gen 4 (some still call it gen 3) 2016+ brought a 6
speed transmission, slipper clutch, and LED lighting all around.

No commercials. No dictators.

This is the direct link to the .pdf Bill is referring to..... you can view it but can't print it. There is a comparison list coming to FJRiders in the near future.

Typo in yer response there Mr. Lumberg: 2016 brought the 6-speed into play, 2014 brought higher cc limit of 100mph from 80mph, as well as an FJR 1300ES model which allows electronic suspension adjustment at the touch of a finger. 2014 also has the standard suspension FJR 1300 A model. 2013 brought the electronics change up from previous versions.

You also omitted the fact that the '13 is the fastest and hottest looking year FJR (if you aren't light in the loafers and go for the lipstick pink '14)

2012 and earlier, still great bikes...I would go all over the continent on one if someone gave me the keys to theirs.

I went straight from an R1150RT to an FJR. It was an adjustment, but a good one. I’m on my second FJR now. And Wheaton is on at least his second one....

2016 added 6 speed, slipper clutch, LED lighting, and the ECU was upgraded to support OBD-II.

The suspension OEM also changed but the design did not. Note the 2014 shock has been superseded by the 2016+ P/N.
