It doesn't matter what I ride, where I ride, or how far I ride... it only matters THAT I ride...every day. "Ferret"

Most of the Harley riders I see in DE (no helmet law) ride with just their do-rags.

Obvious to me (by the blood drooled all over the gas tank) that he didn't, but he might have had a chunk of windshield for a snack.

According to the brochure at the HD dealer, which tells all of the rugged independent individuals what to think, a full faced helmet just doesn't look appropriate on a HD ...

Its all about appearance man ... A smashed face is a small price to pay for looking badass ... Now he even has a scar to talk about ... I wish I had a scar to talk about ... The ladies will be goin crazy.

You practical FJR dudes wouldn't understand ...

I've worn my full faced Shoei when had a HD. I've also worn my open faced Shoei on the FJR. It just depends on what I'm doing.

Gentlemen, go back and read the article. This guy was on a Harley Davidson bicycle.

The fuel tank at the front of the Harley-Davidson bicycle was almost entirely soaked in blood

Probably had his bicycle helmet on.

It's not cool to look like Quasimodo!

Take any MSF safety course and they'll tell you why to wear a full face helmet:
