2018 Star Venture Transcontinental - Nearly $6k cheaper

One of our local dealers has a brand spankin' new Star Venture Transcontinental they've been trying to sell for a while now, and have it listed at $19995 vs the $26,999 original price. I know there's been talk about whether or not Yamaha is going to continue this lineup, as the sales have been slower than expected.
Anyway, if anyone is looking for one... it would appear that now is a good time to purchase.

Yes it is. And it doesn't even have crashbars on it. On a 980lbs bike? You gotta be kidding me!
And Yamaha is wondering why it doesn't sell?

My dealer thought those were going to fly off the showroom floor. Had big event. Test rides. Etc. someones got a relative bargain because the dealer practically gave them away to get rid.

Can't lie, I stared hard at it the last time I was at a dealership... I've never wanted a huge cruiser before, but the older I get the more appeal I see in something comfortable with lots of features and storage.

I would own one already. But they’re not liquid cooled. Only reason I’m not riding one.

Wife and I sat on one at the International Motorcycle Show. Really comfortable, however it was on a stand. A month or so later were at a dealer and we wanted to re-verify the comfort. That bike takes gravity to a new level...I couldn't get it off the side stand.
