New to forum..........

Hi Everyone!
I am new to this forum, so if this is posted in the wrong place, just let me know.
I pick up a used 2013 today. Sure is good the have an FJR to ride again!
I had an 2005 and sold it in 2012 with 108,000 on the odometer. The 05 was darksided for about 100,000 miles. I see in the owners manual of the 2013 that changing tire size may screw up the traction control. Now I am curious, has anyone darksided a 2013 and what does it do to the traction control?
Ride safe...................Jeff

I have. No impact on the traction control.

Thank you Pterodactyl,
What kind and size tire do you use?
On my 05 I used the Bridgestone Potenza 205/50 R17 89V at 37 PSI.

Congrats on getting back on the best bike in the world! And I love the paint color on the 2013, you got a great bike.

Me too, on my '07 the G-Max AS-03 was the first one. Michelin Exalto is the second. Don't think we'll ever find Exaltos again. General "updated" the -03 to the -05 that I am not inclined to try. I like the killer tread pattern of the -03 for our rainy season here other folks call "summer".

Thanks for the comments!
It is great to be back on the best all around, do everything well, bullet proof motorcycle!
When I darksided my 05 I replaced to rear brake caliper linkage arm with flat stock, ground off some of the center stand and inner fender. Will I need to do this on the 13 as well?
Looking forward to see you guys out on the road!
Ride safe..............Jeff
