My 2016 FJR First Great 2 Months

I have been looking at FJR's for years and finally decided to buy this bike. It has been perma grins ever since and I cannot wait to get to the next adventure on it. Probably the best motorcycle I have ever owned or ridden as it does everything so well. Here are some photos highlighting the fun so far.

Nice shots. I love my '16 as well -- not only my first FJR, but my first non-cruiser (unless you count the Honda Magna I had back in the '80s), my first in-line 4 (again, unless you count that old Magna in-line 4 from the early '80s), first with hardbags, etc. I'm still not certain this will be a long-term/forever bike for me as there are a couple things I'm not wild about...but every time I look around at what else is out there, nothing else comes close to ticking off as many boxes for me as the FJR.

Now she is a nice looker. I like the shining Yamaha blue, not so sweet on the matte. Yours is a sweet looking ride!
Just curious, the pic with your ride on the wood slats bridge with the roaring stream going underneath, that is a fantastic photo! I'll bet there were some rules (laws) broken to get that setup! HaHa

I had one of those Magnas... I don't recall an inline, mine was a V4. Not that it matters, they were great bikes.

Yeah, that does sound right, actually...all I recalled was that it was a 4-cylinder. Nice bike. It, a Honda XL500, and a Yamaha Virago were my three bikes in the ‘80s.

Too funny! Yeah that is a bridge in a local SC State Park. The sign just across it says “Authorized Vehicles Only”. No laws broken except I had to cross to turn around I appreciate the nice comments everyone! Just love the FJR. I would hop on it and adventure around every day if I could.

Great pictures! Nice FJR! Congrats. Good to see you got some Canyon Cage bars on there.

Is that a camera phone you are using? Or something better?

Hey Scooter. Those are actually R-Gaza bars all the way from Russia I like them a lot. The pics were taken with my iPhone except the first photo was taken by Killboy at Deal's Gap. Thanks for asking.
