Great safety equipment these days as this is a testament too. Horrible crash in MOTOGP practice.

Yeah I saw that nasty crash, something has to be broken, that one arm at least!!!

That was a nasty hghside...thankfully Pirro is relatively ok.
Great race weekend shaping up at Mugello! Was there last year and the crowd there goes insane for VR46!

I watched that race weekend too.

That crash is what you call "grabbing a lot of front brake"!!! Poor bugger.....

Some (all?) test riders do not wear the air suits that the GP riders use. Pirro was one of those. it was stated that test riders don't get paid enough to be able to afford a set.
He is extremely lucky. The crash was reportedly caused by Pirro applying the brake a second time to hard as the first time he got no braking response as wheel was unweighted and the brake calipers were vibrating. Interesting to see what Dorna does to this bump before next years race.
