CA Superbike School @ Barber May 2018

I just signed up for the Keith Code California Superbike School 2-day camp at Barber on May 29/30. You get their track leathers to wear, and ride their BMW S1000RR. It's not cheap ($2750), but I'm gonna do it. Here's the info on the 2-day camp:
https://superbikeschool.com/the-curr...two-day-camps/

If anyone has already done this, post to share your experience.

I've been to the Barber track a few times for Porsche Club HPDEs, so I know the track fairly well, and it's a total blast. It'll be my first time on a track with a bike. If anyone here wants to join in, let me know. I have heard that this event sells out quickly.

Awesome Bob!

I was just there last Sunday for my last trackday before foot surgery number 2.

It is a beautiful place to ride! Note the hedges and landscaping in the background.

I've never done a school that was that expensive. I hope it's an unforgettable experience for you!

* * Just hanging around until I can ride with Petey, Mack and Rock again. Never forgotten. * *

Knowing the track will be a huge advantage. I got to ride COTA last season and spent at least half the day learning the track. I did the Superbike school about 30 yrs ago. Haha

Have fun! When I did it we rode little gpz550's and cost $175 for the day I think.

My travels have inadvertently taken me to that exit time and time again. Even driven past the entrance but never went in. I spent two days this fall training at Summit Point/BSR in cars for work. Whole time I was thinking how nice it’d be to wear out a set of tires there on the fjr.

No commercials. No dictators.

Great shots John - looks like fun. Sorry to hear about the surgery - hope it works out well.
