I love when a rider moves up from Moto2 and blows the comp away like Zarco did for the front 6 in Qatar, and not on factory! WOW! Will be anxious for Argentina to see what the new breed brings.

Qualifying today. Once again when it seems appropriate to write off Rossi he pulls off a lap that gets him a transfer out of Q1.

Wowzer........great race! My boy (Zarco) stayed up, my main man (Rossi) did very well, tuning fork teams did well....and, Lorenzo & Marquez eat dirt (and didn't get hurt, which we would never want)!
That's a good-en!!!!!

I think it will be Marquez's only drop this year. Way too much competition out there to have a DNF. Rossi continues to fascinate me, does poorly in qualify, and ends on the podium, where he should be. Fantastic! His appearance looks lean and mean. I think he's found the fountain of youth! Lorenzo is a phenomenal rider, not a racer. If he is not in front, or rain, he languishes in the rear. He is now complaining that the Duc is too hard to muscle. He should try the repsol Honda, that supposedly is an absolute beast to muscle. I have to give it to Marquez though, I don't know if Honda would still be competitive in the GP if it weren't for him.

Somehow Marquez needs to learn some patience. I love the high risk high rewards guys but he had that race in the bag if he could've backed off just a hair.

He learned a great deal about patience the year he lost the championship to Lorenzo. He accepted a podium finish when it moved him closer to winning the championship, when in previous years it was all about individual race wins. In his post wreck interview he seemed to feel like he was riding comfortably and genuinely surprised that he went down. I'm not a fan of MM, but realize he is a very special talent. Pedrosa is a top notch rider and hasn't been able to keep pace with MM for the past three years. The Honda has a rep for being a bear to handle, but I won't be surprised if MM hustles it to another championship this year.

Zarco is a good edition to the mix, he makes it interesting but it looks like the Honda team has figured some stuff out.
