1000 mile weekend

Took at trip to solvang this weekend to visit a great man, Wyman Winn. He is a klr and BMW rt guru who is also a former ama racer. We did the throttle body sinc on the fjr 1111 miles total at the time of the check on my 2014 ES.) after the check Saturday morning we did about 125 miles to jalama beach and back via some crazy roads. He knows only one speed, WOT, and he makes that RT look like a contender for the Isle of Man. So keeping up was all about the rider, not the bike! The FJR was pushed to its limits (OK, my limits) and we actually switched for a while with him on the FJR and me on the RT (again, me trying to keep up!) his complaint about the FJR was the braking and that you felt more like sitting on it than "in" it. I will say the Rt was "unflappable"...nothing bothered it. The fjr in comparison felt like it had under steer in comparison, but the right wrist definitely had more snap! So I've learned the FJR is indeed a "big girl who knows how to dance, the RT is lighter and more nimble with that funky boxer motor. After 1000 miles total, my rear end is looking for some therapy, and the cruise control is a life saver. I like the ergos of the FJT better, but not by much! I'm just under 6' and about 165 lbs. if I was 6'2", I'd probably have knee issues after that many miles in 2.5 days. I also have found the stock screen either throws clean air at my chest when fully retracted, or at the base of my helmet half way extended and at the top of my head fully up...not good!
Screen suggestions wanted!

Was the throttle body sync off by much at 1111 miles?

Thanks for the suggestion on the screen...I'm sure others have tried something other than the Yamaha touring screen? The more input the better, especially for my size.
In terms of the throttle bodies, they were off by something like 3-5mm, which is WELL within spec...I didn't even touch 'em.
So, yeah, open it up, look at it, close it up. I only billed myself $1837. It would have been double that if I had to pick up a screwdriver to adjust them... :-)
