Wonderful shots. I was riding last week with a few fellows. We were staying just outside Bancroft. Post card views on nearly every road. Outstanding fall riding. 1900 km all together riding.

Nice colours up at the forks.

I was out around Milton, Kelso, Halton Hills today. Beautiful. Unfortunately, no pics. I was on a mission.

If the weather is good next weekend. I hope to get out to Rice Lake, then shoot up to Bancroft.

Will have to see about pics.

Currently in Shawinigan QC. After crossing the Ottawa River, the colours in Quebec are a little more advanced, postcard stuff. I have no stills, getting some of those tomorrow.

How about a slideshow / video instead? My lovely wife and I went for a little ride from London, ON to Mont Tremblant, QC this past week. We left on Tuesday (Sep 22) and rode to Peterborough where we stayed for the night. We carried on to Mont Tremblant on Wednesday where we met my brother and his wife who trailered their K1600GTL from Strathroy, ON. They did the drive in a day. Spent Thu, Fri, and Sat riding around the area. The fall colours were absolutely spectacular. I would say that area in Quebec is a good two weeks ahead of us for fall colours. Our ride was cut short on Saturday when my brother picked up a cotter pin in his rear tire. We plugged the tire but it still had a slow leak so we headed back to the hotel and enjoyed the rest of the day walking through the village. The weather was perfect all week - not even a hint of rain. I would say the only negative (other than the flat tire) would be the general condition of the roads - just a little too bumpy for our liking. Other than that, it was a very successful ride. We trailered the bikes back home today. It was a great way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary - here's to another 25!

Ours in the southern half of Missouri just flipped from 0% to 100% overnight. I enjoyed a sightseeing ride yesterday to enjoy them.

Our last 40 days have been so dry though, I'll bet they go from 100% to on the ground almost as quickly.

* * Just hanging around until I can ride with Petey, Mack and Rock again. Never forgotten. * *
