need sidecase Coverplate

just bought my mint '06...but the seller did not have 1 of the 4 the COVERPLATES that cover the side case mounts when the sidecases are off. I ride with sidecases off around town when not traveling.
Does anybody have one?....mine happens to be blue...but any color will do...I can paint to match...

Just curious, why did you switch from the newer C14 to the FJR?

C14 to FJR

No real particular reason...didn't ride for about 6 months after I sold the Connie, mostly weight though...the C14 is really big...I'm 6'1,212lbs...I had the center stand off and a delkevic to replace the beastly stock muffler; that alone saved 20lbs..the center s. was another 12 lbs. saving...I have the shop do tire changes...
Its a great ride with that set up...rode 3000 miles in 6 days out to the Ozark mountains and back, hauls ass..went a couple of times to the Smokies too.
By contrast my gen 2 FJR is a liteweight, feels MUCH lighter..I'm thinking about taking off the centerstand.. I was a bit disappointed to only save 12lbs total when I replaced the stock cans with a pair of delkevic tri ovals 13", still the FJR is easier to roll around in the garage and such, I've a serious bad back. FJR in stature and weight feels about 10% less bulky and heavy..I'm guessing my gen2 weighs around 560 ish with the CS off and a gallon of gas in the tank. My gen2 FJR has no traction control, don't need it...and no 6th gear...trying not to need that too...but I haven't taken a trip on it yet..thinking to do the RSV yamaha rear drive changeout to lower rpms by about 328 at high speed cruise which I like to do
