The dealer said all fluids were good when bike was delivered.2016 ES 2700 mi. Unless brake fluid is the same as root beer not so much . I was going to bring it in to have it done as not a master mechanic but changed my mind .After brakes I'll do the clutch and coolant being 4 years old and doubtful it was changed but level is good. I flushed both front and rear and pedal/lever feels good. Took off the panel for access to ABS so I can jump the wires . Just not confident on which wire to jump. If I screw up will it hurt anything if I jump the wrong side ? Trying to find a Haynes for gen 3 but no luck.

Check in your clutch reservoir, it's likely way darker than what was in the brakes... do it every year it will stay decent looking......
On 2016... the later ABS systems were less prone to blockage, but of course, should be cycled. On that wiring diagram, it's the two wires at the top with the lock tab UP, sky blue and black/white (or gray). The bottom two wires are blue/black and blue/red (which are used for data). On my harness, there are no wires in those two ports. Same two wire positions for all ABS models, colours may vary.

You are correct Ray. Clutch fluid did not look bad in sight glass but was pretty bad looking in the reservoir. Thanks for confirming the wires. I'm trying to do at the basic service myself on this bike and hate to create electrical issues. I think Haynes manual or one written in crayon would be best for me. Just have to find my year.

Update - Due to Covid border closings to personal travel, I have not been able to get additional inventory to Wayne in Michigan (FJRiders store on AttackTheRoad website). Wayne tells me he sold the last one and the site automatically removes the listing to prevent a backorder situation..... which is the current situation.
I have checked into international shipping and will be sending some ABS harnesses to replenish the inventory... postal services are backed up like it's a Christmas rush every day so if you hang in there..... working on it, but may take 2-3 weeks....

D'oh! Would love to get one as soon as they're available again. Guess I'll jumper it in the meantime.
