This harness is only intended to cycle the ABS system, nothing else. Other methods are with a jumper. This just makes it very convenient, and can be left on the bike. As for YCC-S, you need to go into DiAG mode and look up diagnostic codes. You'll need a service manual for the YCC-S, read up sections 8 and 9. Unfortunately I don't have a FSM with YCC-S......

To go into DiAG mode, kill switch off or trans in gear with sidestand down, press and hold the two buttons on the display, turn Ignition ON and hold for >8 seconds. Should display ECU and MCU options, choose MCU (YCC-S).... etc. as the manual describes.

Thanks I have the manual now and read that today and the ABS is a 4 pin vs YCC-S is a 2 pin. Looks like I still have to un plug the YCC-S 2 pin connector and jump wire the pins and check the AE SHIFT fault codes. We followed the book instruction to access DIAG and found a tip over code, that explains why no right side fairing we purchased new.. My friend said he jumped the pins for ABS,did the test, the brake lever and foot pedal pulsated big time.We also replaced all new fluids, clutch, rear end etc etc bike had been setting for several years with no cam chain tensor, so he installed a new one and adjusted the valves. I hate shims UNDER the bucket. My FJ1200 is SO easy to adjust vs the FJR.. George found this link for the ABS jumper. https://www.klsupply.com/general-equ...r-35-03149.asp This forum ROCKS several members have been a big help.
Thanks

Almost ready for the ordering link which I will announce and add to the first post. They are being set up in the FJRiders storefront, and non-members can place orders without becoming a member. US orders will be processed there, Paypal payment system, shipping from Michigan. All others will be referred for manual processing (it will be me)...
Canada Post wants $15 to ship, so best if you have buddies near you, it may be possible to combine some into one package... I have to clarify with Can Post the weight limits, flat rates, etc.
Other ways I've already discussed with some... e.g., the lunch meeting we had today, meet at an FJR event, a tech day or who knows, maybe I'm making a trip near you one day or you coming my way, or just pay the postman. Stay tuned.

Yes, you can, but a permanently installed switch means you do not need to pull your dash apart if you have a Series III.
